I had my consultation at BMC today and my eyes were approved for LASIK. I was very impressed with everyone at BMC today; very friendly and reassuring ... this is, after all, surgery! The consultation was, as they said on the phone, no obligation/cost. My LASIK procedure has been scheduled for Friday, May 9.

I put my contacts in this morning for the LAST time! Starting tomorrow, I must wear my glasses until procedure day.

It was odd not putting in contacts today. Just a couple of weeks until my LASIK procedure. On my way to the station this morning, I thought of some questions regarding my surgery, so I picked-up the phone, called 318-3143 and asked 'em.
