About Bill:
Bill Baker is an award winning anchor reporter with over 25 years experience in the radio industry. His first day on the air was May 18, 1980 - the day Mt. St. Helens exploded. Since that time, Bill has worked at several radio and television stations in the Pacific Northwest, has anchored election coverage and has been honored for his reporting work. Along with serving as the News Director for all of Horizon Broadcasting Group's radio stations, Bill also operates a syndicated dairy news program from his home studio. Bill can't get enough of the great outdoors, and enjoys hiking and biking with his wife and running and playing with his dogs. Bill also hosts "Inside Central Oregon," KQAK's weekly public affairs program that airs Sunday at 7:30 am.
