A new family-friendly event uniting fans of all genres of pop culture is coming to the Deschutes County Fair and Expo Center on May 11th. Beaver State Comic Con will feature celebrity guests, local artists and vendors, comics, toys, games, cosplay contest, and activities for all ages.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to meet iconic personalities such as Tami Stronach, famed for her role as the Childlike Empress in the beloved 1984 fantasy epic “The NeverEnding Story,” Spencer Wilding, who brought Darth Vader to life in “Rogue One: A Star Wars Story,” the beloved Gigi Edgley of “Farscape” fame, alongside anime voice-over talents Lizzie Freeman and Chris Niosi.
Beaver State Comic Con is the first multi-genre pop culture event to happen in Deschutes County and promises to be a fun-packed day of all things pop culture from comic books and movies to television, gaming, and cosplay.
