The Redmond Senior Center is proud to announce a series of engaging events in honor of Self-Care Awareness Month this August. These events are designed to empower seniors with knowledge and practical advice on self-care, financial management, and nutrition.
Event Schedule:
  • August 14, 1:00 PM – Self-Care Talk with Life Coach Sharron LanierKick off the month with an inspiring session led by renowned life coach Sharron Lanier. This talk will focus on the importance of self-care practices and how to incorporate them into daily routines to enhance overall well-being.
  • August 21, 1:00 PM – Protect Your Finances with Financial Manager Mike PowellFinancial health is a crucial aspect of self-care. Join Mike Powell, a seasoned financial manager, as he shares tips on safeguarding your finances and planning for a secure future.
  • August 29, 11:00 AM – The Power of Nutrition with Registered Dietitian Rhonda GostanianLearn about the vital role nutrition plays in maintaining health. Registered dietitian Rhonda Gostanian will provide insights into making nutritious choices that benefit both the body and mind.
James Morris, the Marketing Coordinator for the Redmond Senior Center, expressed his excitement about the upcoming events. “Self-care is essential at every stage of life, and we’re thrilled to offer these informative sessions to our community. We hope that seniors will take advantage of this opportunity to learn and grow.”
