Community members are invited to an open house, in person or online, to help shape the direction of the new Reed Market Road railroad crossing project.
- In person: Dec. 9, 5:30–7:30 p.m., at the Larkspur Community Center, 1600 SE Reed Market Road
- Online: Dec. 4–18, 2024 at bendoregon.gov/reedmarket-rrcrossing
Reed Market Road is a vital east-west arterial in southeast Bend. Improvements at the Reed Market Road railroad crossing have long been a priority for the community.
This first phase of the project will decide whether and how to build a bridge over (or tunnel under) the railroad tracks on SE Reed Market Road. Separating the roadway from the railroad would end railroad crossing delays and improve safety for all travelers.
