There have been reports about how Taylor Swift celebrated her 35th birthday on Dec. 13, but right now the only party we know about for sure is one her friends threw to mark the end of the Eras Tour.
Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, posted photos on Instagram showing her, Taylor and their pals at a party, dressed in outfits inspired by the tour. Brittany is wearing a sequined dress and boots, which seems to be a nod to what Taylor wore during the Midnights portion of the tour. Patrick, meanwhile, is wearing white tie and tails, which is what the dancers wore onstage during the “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart” part of The Tortured Poets Department segment.
In another photo, Taylor poses with Brittany and Lyndsay Bell, wife of the Chiefs’ Blake Bell, who’s wearing what could be a Lover-inspired pink jacket. And Taylor’s friend Ashley Avignone, who’s also in the picture, is wearing a snake around her neck — possibly as a nod to Reputation. Some friendship bracelets can be seen on a table in front of them. Taylor’s wearing a black minidress.
Travis Kelce‘s pal Ross Travis posted more photos of the party to Instagram, showing Taylor wearing shades, holding a microphone and dancing with Travis, who’s wearing white tie and tails like Patrick.
In other Taylor news, super Swiftie Nikki Glaser tells People that during the Eras Tour she spent “close to $100,000” to attend 22 of the shows, including travel, hotels, tickets and merch for herself and the people who went with her.
“I justify that cost because I don’t have kids,” she said, joking, “People spend that much on their kids playing hockey for five years. So it’s okay.”
