Joe Jonas recently joined Alex Warren on a duet version of his latest single, “Burning Down,” and now the two have released an official video for the track — and it’s extremely morbid.
How morbid? It starts with a shot of Alex slowly dying after being impaled by a giant sword, then a shot of Joe’s decapitated head lying on the ground. But then we see Alex and Joe waking up in different rooms; it was all a dream.
This scenario repeats throughout the video: Either Alex, Joe or both are repeatedly killed in different ways — hit by a car, squashed by a falling air conditioner, struck by lightning, caught in an explosion. Each time, they wake up — except for the end, where once again Alex is stabbed and Joe loses his head, seemingly for good.
In other Alex Warren news, he’s just announced that he’ll be doing a special conversation and performance at the Grammy Museum in LA on Jan. 23. The general ticket sale begins Dec. 21 at 12 p.m. PT via Universe.com. The North American leg of his Cheaper Than Therapy Global Tour starts April 24 in Dallas, Texas.
