Billboard already has countless charts, so what’s another one?

The publication has just launched a new tally called the Hot Dance/Pop Songs chart, which it says is for “songs with dance-centric vocals, melody and hooks by artists not rooted in the dance/electronic genre.” The first #1 song on the new chart is “It’s ok I’m ok” by Tate McRae

Charli XCX, meanwhile, has songs at #2, #3, #4 and #6, respectively, with “Apple,” “360,” “Guess” featuring Billie Eilish and “Sympathy is a knife” featuring Ariana Grande. Other songs in the top 10 include tracks from The Weeknd, Katy Perry and Kesha.

But what about songs by artists who are rooted in the dance/electronic genre? There’s a chart for that, too: Billboard‘s newly revamped Hot Dance/Electronic Songs tally. That’s for DJs, producers and, as Billboard puts it, “long-standing core artists in the dance/electronic genre.”

The #1 song on that chart is “Miles On It” by Marshmello and Kane Brown, followed by David Guetta, Alphaville and Ava Max‘s “Forever Young.”
