CASA of Central Oregon is excited to announce the Courtside for CASA Pickleball Classic, a round-robin indoor pickleball tournament held at The Premier Pickleball Club in Redmond, OR that combines the fun and excitement of pickleball with a heartwarming cause. This inaugural event, set for February 20-23, 2025, will benefit CASA of Central Oregon, a nonprofit that provides trained volunteers to advocate for children in foster care who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Tournament Schedule:
- Thursday, 2/20/25 – Pro, Senior Pro, & Amateur Singles
- Friday, 2/21/25 – Pro Women’s Doubles & Amateur Men’s Doubles
- Saturday, 2/22/25 – Pro Mixed Doubles & Amateur Mixed Doubles
- Sunday, 2/23/25 – Pro Men’s Doubles & Amateur Women’s Doubles
This indoor tournament, hosted by Premier Pickleball Club, is open to players of all levels and will follow USA Pickleball rules. The event features multiple divisions for Pro and Amateur players, with prize money totaling an estimated $8,000 for pro events, depending on registration numbers.
The Courtside for CASA Pickleball Classic is more than just a tournament – it’s a chance to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children. Fifty percent of the proceeds from event registration will benefit CASA of Central Oregon, a local nonprofit that trains and supports volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASAs) who advocate for children who have experienced abuse and neglect in Deschutes, Crook, and Jefferson counties.
“We are thrilled to partner with The Premiere Pickleball Club for this event,” said Heather Dion, Executive Director of CASA of Central Oregon. “We know that the need for CASA volunteers is greater than ever. This year, we expect more than 450 children to spend time in foster care in Central Oregon. This event is not only fun, but it will give more children in foster care the benefit of a CASA volunteer.”

Registration Fee: $55 per player until February 1, $60 after February 1. Includes: Swag bag, winning medals, and the chance to win big in the pro divisions.
