“Where’s the trophy?” is what Taylor Swift sang in her song “The Alchemy” — but if you’re talking about the Vince Lombardi trophy, it currently belongs to Philadelphia. Her boyfriend Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs were routed by the Eagles Sunday night in New Orleans, 40 to 22.
The Chiefs were going for a historic three-peat, having won the two previous Super Bowls. But since they lost, there was no congratulatory kiss between Taylor and Travis on the field, as there was last year.
But Taylor was there: According to People, arrived wearing a white Saint Laurent blazer to the game, paired with a white Alaïa bodysuit, bedazzled Monday Denim brand shorts and white knee-high Paris Texas boots. She also wore the same Lorraine Schwartz chain with a “T” on it that she wore on her thigh for the Grammys — this time, it was around her neck.
In her suite, Taylor was joined by longtime friends Ashley Avignone, the Haim sisters — Alana Haim, Este Haim and Danielle Haim — and rapper Ice Spice, as well as her dad Scott and brother Austin.
At one point during the game, Taylor appeared to laugh off boos from some members of the crowd when she was shown on the jumbotron at the Superdome. In a clip shared on social media by the NFL, she turned her head and shared a laugh with Ice Spice, who was seated next to her.
Shortly after the now-viral moment, tennis superstar Serena Williams, who was a surprise guest in the halftime show, shared a message of support for the “Shake It Off” singer on social media.
“I love you @taylorswift13 dont listen to those booos!!” Williams wrote on X.
And while Taylor didn’t perform, Lady Gaga did, in a pre-recorded segment from Bourbon Street. She sang her song “Hold My Hand,” from the movie Top Gun: Maverick as a tribute to the Big Easy’s resilience, following the Bourbon Street attack on New Year’s Day that killed 14 people. She was joined by first responders and a gospel choir.
