YOUTH SPORTS SAFETY AND CONCUSSION AWARENESS

WE LOVE TO SEE YOUNG ATHLETES PARTICIPATE IN SPORTS AND STAY ACTIVE, BUT SPORT INJURIES AND CONCUSSIONS ARE SOMETIMES UNAVOIDABLE.

For this reason, The Center Foundation works with youth, schools, and parents to IMPROVE awareness, EDUCATE the community, and MANAGE concussions and other sports injuries properly. In fact, The Center Foundation and our certified athletic trainers are in eight local high schools across Central Oregon to SUPPORT families and young athletes – keeping kids safe in sports.

The Center Foundation will be hosting our Baseline Concussion Testing for Central Oregon students ages 12-18 on Monday, August 29^th at The Center.

9:00 am testing slots are currently open, with more opening as needed.

The cost of each baseline test is $20, cash or check made out to The Center Foundation. Registration is required by contacting Stuart Schmidt, Program Manager, at 541-322-2323. Baseline tests are held at The Center, 2200 NE Neff Road in Bend, Oregon.
